Well, I'm satisfied. (Food related.)

I just had a small Freschetta pepperoni pizza that I seasoned with somw Italian herbs. I’ve had a bottle of 2000 Beaujolais Nouveau that’s been sitting in the bottom of the fridge for a couple of years. It doesn’t have a vintner on it (or maybe it does – I don’t speak French) but it said (I think) it was bottled by Lucien de Noblens in Belleville, France. I got it at Trader Joe’s.

So I poured some wine into a glass (the last 1/3 bottle – I’ve had it twice since Sunday) and let it warm up a bit while the pizza baked. The pizza what delicious with its yeasty crust, and the cheap ($4) bottle of wine was tasty too.

Now if only I had room in my gut for that brownie…
