I don’t know where it came from, but I like it…
Thanks for a good laugh, whoever wrote this.
That’s hilarious!
Not too shabby, Stoid.
That’s an original laugh…I like it!
Just got that in my email.
Recall that Canada is in the Commonwealth, and I’ve been down here in Ft. Worth paving the way for a few days now.
We’re not sure we want Texas, so they might be going back to Mexico.
I’ll keep you posted.
No idea where it’s from, but I’m 99.9% certain that an English person penned it (from the vocabulary, subject matter and the humour*).
Oh, excellent catch, Stoid!
This election clusterfuck has drawn some useful dividing lines. Not just the hackneyed lines between party zealots, but between people with a sense of humor (perspective?) and those without.
This ain’t tragedy; it’s farce! And healthy to boot, to clean up the system and deflate pomposity. Hey, stupid to blame the mirror if it shows something ridiculous.
Funniest damned thing I’ve read…well, since today’s headlines.
Veb
TV, you are so right. While I am rabidly partisan and very invested in the outcome, I never lose my sense of humor about it. The single funniest thing they did on SNL last week was Gore talking about the wacky ballot. I was in stiches, and in case you weren’t aware I’m 100% behind him.
There is nothing sacred, and boy am I glad!

Hey Stoid, you might enjoy these. I know I did! And I concur, that skit on SNL was classic (If you’ll notice, the ballot doesn’t specify which side is right side up! Is it this way? Or this way? Or this way? It doesn’t say!)
Great! And just think… if you’re good enough, Her Maj just might let you become Canadians!
Yeah, and the fact that he refers to “Congress and the Senate.”
Oh really, Your Brittishness, Congress and the Senate, eh?
'twas tres amusing, though. :):)
You know the scary part?
They want back taxes…
