Well, I've noticed a new behavior in my bad, bad, bad Siamese cats

These are not the snuggly, lap sitting, purring type cats. Except…when they are cold or choose to bug you. Always on their terms. Always.

Now if I sit for more than 2 minutes. Say, on the edge of the bed, the toilt-y, a bench I have by the woodstove in the kitchen. They come right to my feet and start circling. (kinda like sharks, aaaaccckkk!)
Walking by my ankles in the classic kitty hug. I hold my hand down and they put their head by my hand and walk under it and I drag my hand all the way down their backs up the tail, as they march around in a tight circle. Over and over again. Purring like there’s no tomorrow.

I think, between me and these 2 cats we’ve invented the self petting cat machine.

All cats should be trained to do this. It’s perfect for the lazy cat owner.
Like me😋

My cats do the same. I think they may be in cahoots!

There is the belief, in some circles, that Cats are of a Hive mind. Kinda like The Borg on StarTrek.

Resistance is futile.,:alien:

This reminds me of Shamus’s pat pat game. If you sat on a kitchen chair (or the toilet) he’d circle your ankles and you were supposed to pat his tail - just his tail. It was a lot of fun in his humble opinion judging from his buzzsaw purring.

Would that be cat-hoots?

My Vienna does the same thing. I’m sitting in my office chair, and she comes up next to me and meows. I let my arm dangle, and she moves around to feel my fingers from head to tail. I can hear her purring.
