Wendy's commercial sound clip/YouTube, etc.

It’s one of their recent ads for their Frostys. It’s the cartoon Wendy talking about their new Frostys while what sounds like a rock version of “Turkey in the Straw” (if that’s what it is) plays. All my Google attempts come up with everything but that particular commercial. Anyone?

Yes, Turkey in the Straw, aka Old Zip Coon, is the traditional tune used on ice cream trucks. That’s the connection. Give YouTube some time. I’m sure it will get posted there eventually.

It may not be the same commercial. I’snt there a Frosty Commercial out there, with “My Bonnie lies over the ocean” ?

No whoosh. I’ve seen the ad. It’s for the new Frosty shakes. I believe Wendy makes a reference to ice cream, hence the music.

…They fired the agency that came up with the guys in Wendy wigs. No commercial has sold burgers since Dave passed on. And they had the famous “Where’s the beef?” commercial.

I don’t have any video-recording thingys, but here’s a sound file. I think this only airs during kids’ shows- this was recorded off Nickelodeon.
