I was reading the Slashdot thread about this.
It seems that for such a small body, the orbit is subject to alteration a lot on each orbit, so every trip around the Sun, we’re in the firing line.
Eventually we’ll get nailed, though probably (almost certainly) not this time around.
Damn I better start living it up. Only 17 precious years of life left.
Even if the Earth manages to avoid getting hit by an asteroid in 2019, we’re still all going to die. You, me, the Mods, yes, even the ineffable Cecil himself.
