I STRONGLY recommend pruning ANY GD thread that mentions either “evolution” or “libertarian”. That should eliminate about 20% of the posts held in the server. (ducking and running)
First they pruned the trolling threads.

Then they pruned the threads which had posts mainly from people no longer with us.

Couldn’t all the old threads be archived? Throw every thread that hasn’t had a new post in six months into a seperate forum and call it The Vault or something. They wouldn’t be contributing to the congestion in MPSIMS but they would be available for use in the search engine.
It’s not the quantity that matters, it’s the quality. On the other hand for having a lot of quantity your quality is pretty good.
If at first you don’t succeed you’re about average.

By all means, prune away!! I’ve read many posts that almost put me to sleep, looked up some past ones that made me wonder about the general intelligence level of the human race, spotted some that looked like soccer riots, and others that resembled nothing more than verbal gang wars.
I had wondered just how much garbage your archives could handle – and those contain some of my posts which I freely admit should not be left around for posterity. Dump, dump and then DUMP some more!
As for my post count, who cares? I rarely check it anyhow. Some here with large counts, I strongly suspect, have developed the old political art of fillabusting.
