At 2am in a dorm room after ingesting some good stuff. 
As the song says, “lonely” and “alone” are two very different ideas and one can have either, both, or neither going on at any given moment in any given situation.
I think the really important question is, just what is that drink they call Loneliness? Fortunately I have found the answer.
