I was just watching a special on Lady Diana. I watched as she passed a large swarm of paparazzis packed behind a metal fence. It sounded like they were all saying “Mom?” in a soft endearing tone. Was that a term of endearment for Lady Di used by paparazzi or were they capitalizing on her maternal instincts to turn and look at the camera? Could the paparazzi sink that low?
Where they saying “Ma’am”?
To an Australian (well, this one) the English Ma’am sounds a bit like the American Mom.
Where = Were.
Mr. Key,
No they weren’t, because if they were, I would feel like a complete dolt. Oh well, that wouldn’t be the first time.
Yes they were. Man, am I twisted mind or what? What was I thinking. The Brits worship the ground she walked on.
