My parents have died, so no one to ask, but I doubt I was nursed. I was born about 3 weeks early, and they found my mother had uterine cancer at that time. She had a hysterectomy a couple weeks later. I don’t know if there was chemo or radiation done, too, but she was likely in no shape to nurse me. I’m the youngest of 5 (7 including a set of twins that died) all born within 6 years of each other.
