Ok, I realize that half of California is NOT going to sink into the ocean, a la the Superman movie, but still, it’s fun to contemplate what a few of the new names might be, such as:
The San Andreas National Seashore
or
The Los Angeles Basin National Oceanic Wildlife Preserve

Bakersfield-by-the-Sea
Yosemite Bay
Sacramento Shores
**The Fresno Tidelands
Half-Moon Island
The Mt Tamalpais Archipelago
The Golden Strait**
…but as I keep saying, California can’t fall into the sea because California is forty miles thick and the sea is only two miles deep.

The Sac-Joaqin Bay
Folsom Shores
The American River Delta
