Here we talked about The West Wing, and I said that I wasn’t sure I’d buy Series 4. Well I did. And frankly the first four episodes just aren’t interesting. I found myself fast-forwarding numerous times. Does it get better?

Looking at the episode list, I have to say you’re probably correct. There are a few that stand out (“Red Havens on Fire”, “Privateers”, “Angel Maintenance”, and “Evidence of Things Not Seen” - all oddly in right in a bunch). The rest of them seem to smack of going through the motions. This was the “Special Guest Appearance by” season.
