Wet and Gusty in Ireland

have one for me!!

Well had a Heineken- save myself for a couple later. I think I am turning into a shit weather magnet. It is becoming cloudy and cold.

I was thinking of buying Roscommon and turning it into a theme park.

Seriously though, I didn’t realise the economic situation was so grim here- not that we receive a great deal of news about Irish affairs. And I thought Australian politicians were a mob of lying bastards with no morals, but the Irish politicians during the week have been a revelation. For two weeks- “No, no bail out is needed”. Now there is a “loan”. Why there isn’t rioting surprises me.

Are you in Dublin? If you fancy a pint with a complete stranger…

Heavens, I would have loved to- however I fly out tomorrow pretty early. I should have arranged it earlier.

I should have mentioned it before, we could have dragged yojimbo and/or ruadh along.

That would have been great. We were at a sort of a loose end this afternoon. We left Achill Island today as I didn’t think I could make it to Dublin early enough tomorrow to catch our flight. I think it was a good move- the M6 was great but it took me 3 hours to get onto it.

Anyway, would have been fun to catch you guys, but we will be back. Love your beautiful country- you are really fortunate.

Aesthetically if not fiscally.

Heh- I still struggle to drive in a country where Farmer Murphy drives a huge tractor down a major highway hauling turnips and no one finds it strange! Never mind all the traffic.

I was there for my lunch today!

Small world.

Cries

Where else is he meant to drive?

Oh yeah, oops.
