I wish I could post to the SDMB when we lose power at work. Usually we just play koosh basketball.
You lose power? How 1990. 
Guess working in a data center / network supernode has its benefits. Even during the famed California rolling blackouts a few summers ago, we were immune to being shut off even though we’ve got a generator that’ll run the place indefinitely, or as long as the fuel trucks keep arriving.
Even if we did lose juice, my desktop PC is a lapop, so I’d just open the lid.
I’ve rarely had power of any kind in any job. When I have, it has usually been undermined by my supervisors at the time.
