Is there an option? I don’t have a PayPal account and don’t want one. I know last time the was a way to swing it, how about now?
Oops, I just found that clicking through to PayPal gives me the option. Never mind.
Yeah, you don’t need an account. And Paypal lets you use credit card, but they are sure to always force you to use a bank account if you’re not careful.
This is a good time to mention that if you DO use the e-check option PayPal holds on to your funds for 7-10 business days. This means that you’re not actually credited here at the Dope until it clears, so please keep that in mind when renewing your subscription.
I just tried to renew my subscription and didn’t see any other method of payment besides Paypal. Is it just user error?
No, but you can set it up to pay with your CC through PayPal. It’s pretty simple.

I was looking for a thread about subscription renewal financial help, but I didn’t see anything. I thought I would have the $7.48 for my renewal by now. Would some kind doper take pity on me and spot me until I start my Summer job?
