What about OJ and those ''ugly-ass shoes?''

I remember after OJ’s first trial that someone came up with a photo of OJ allegedly wearing the Bruno Magli shoes that he claimed he never owned.

I saw the photo (well, on TV), and–not having access to any kind of fancy equipment–would not have been able to tell them from any other kind dress shoes.

So. . .

Did anyone ever credibly verify that the photo showed hime wearing the same type of shoes that he claimed he never owned?

Yes, I’m too lazy to do a search, but IIRC they found a professional photographer who had done a commercial shoot with OJ before the murders. There were something like 30 photos in which the shoes were identifiable, and I’m pretty sure they were used as evidence in the civil trial.

the picture was shown all around; i think that the enquirer had a copy of it. the funny thing is that in his book about the trial, bugliosi said that the fbi expert couldn’t tie the shoes to the murder.
