Yeah - to me, it looks what a prop-driven A-10 would be (if such existed). Google image search showed a few of them with mini-guns under the cockpit (ground attack/support).
Awesome. Thanks for the heads-up!
It is clearly Luftwaffe aircraft number 9918
But to save you the effort of finding info about this Bronco , luftwaffe #9918, see here
I’m confused. Was the caption for the video that describes both planes not there when the OP started this thread?
Same here.
Here it is at usni.org — subscription required, though.
I don’t know if it’s true but I’ve been told you can point it just about straight down and not hit VNE.
Thanks. Some big libraries carry the magazine, or you can order current and back issues from USNI.
Seems to be common in planes with a “-10” in their nomenclature… A10, Warthog, Airplane, Military Aircraft, Aircraft, Jet Fighter, Machine Gun, Bomber Wallpapers HD / Desktop and Mobile Backgrounds
I think it looks pretty neat.
A Short Skyvan looks like the bigger, frumpier sibling.
Bumped.
And now it can be again!: http://www.historicaviation.com/OV-10A-1_72-Kit/productinfo/704222/
Beautiful plane.
The OV-1 Mohawk looks even more like “a prop-driven A-10”.
