What all has come into being since SDMB was started?

A recent post in The truly great threads in SDMB history pointed out that YouTube came into being after SDMB had been around for a while.

That makes me want to find and identify other “new fangled” things that are newer than SDMB. Assume 1999 as a starting point and try to name stuff that wsn’t here in those days.
