What am I named?

Pullet surprise.

[did you post that/steal that from this week’s Bananas thread? If not, Internal SerenDipity[sup]TM[/sup]]

Dot.Con?

The answer is the name of a real person.

I’ve added some words:

This person initially started off at the beginning in Kansas, and then followed the path of swindling. What is this person named?

Dang! This doesn’t quite work. I thought this person’s first name was hyphenated, but I checked and it’s all one word. Anyway, you can still try to guess who it is. The person’s first name is made up of two first names combined into one.

I have not been into the bananas thread at all. But yes, finally.

(Pulitzer Prize for anyone who did not get it)

A new one:

Chaos at Bell Rue, as the big wheel is closed for the day. Why is it closed?

Actually, it should be:

Chaos at Bell Rue, as the Big Wheel is closed 'til tomorrow. Why is it closed?

Because a brutal eel got caught in it?

“at bell rue” anagram

While incorrect, this was partially correct.

No, but you’re right that “chaos” indicates an anagram.

Because it’s raining? You need an umbrella.

Because Ferris (the Big Wheel) had a sad (rue) Ballet experience?

No, but you’re right about the Ferris…

Hint for this one: the person in question is best known for their involvement in the contemporary political world.

Ferris Buellers day off?

Yes! The reason the Big Wheel at Bell Rue is closed is because it’s Ferris Bueller’s Day Off ('80s movie).

“Chaos” indicated an anagram
“Bell Rue” is an anagram of “Bueller”
The “Big Wheel” is a Ferris wheel
“closed 'til tomorrow” is because it’s the day off

Can I request a clue? In the Kansas riddle, is it male or female?

Female.

Another hint. The clue was set up because I thought the first name was hyphenated, like this:

_ _ _ _ _ - _ _ _ _ / _ _ _ _ _ _

Whereas it’s actually like this:

_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ / _ _ _ _ _ _

(accurate letter counts above)

Well, that threw off my thougts. Back to the drawing board. Be back soon.

( do you get the idea we are the only few playing this game? ;))

Is it Kellyanne Conway?

Yes! It’s pollster Kellyanne Conway.

  • “initially started off” referred to the initials of her first name. However, it’s actually only one word.
  • “at the beginning in Kansas” referred to the first two letters of Kansas, KA, for Kelly-Anne, although it’s actually Kellyanne.
  • “path of swindling” is another way of saying “con way”.
