Tris, the traditional way to kill chickens and rabbits is with your bare hands. Grab the beastie, calm it down, wring its neck. It’s actually a lot less messy than using, say, a rock.
The hardest part is managing to grab the one you want, even when they’re in an enclosed area.
Well, when I have seen it done (badly, I might add) it made me favor the method of feeding the critters a favorite snack in a special pen they have to stick their heads into on a regular basis.
Makes it easy to grab them by the neck, you see. Since no chicken survives the unpleasant aspect of the ritual feeding, they fall for it every time.
Does a shoe count as a weapon when squashing bugs? Cause I ain’t stompin’ a spider without my shoes.
