I’m still putting my money on the Elephant Seal. The bulls engage in dominance battles, they can charge over land with remarkable speed. They are incredibly strong and even though not as mobile as a bear they could toss off an 800 pound grizzly without trouble. If they hit one head on or get on top it the Grizzly is dead. I seriously doubt a Grizzly would attack something that large if he saw it move. Thinking it perhaps an oversized Walrus a Grizzly might attack but when the bull seal moves forward instead of backing off the bear will change his mind.
I can’t possibly prove this right now, but if someone can take care of the paperwork I will contribute what I can to staging the fight and resolving this issue.
I’ve not been able to find a Wolverine vs Grizzly Bear video, but here’s one Wolverine vs. Godzilla. At the end you’ll see what Godzilla finally had to do, so there’s a question if a grizzly could do the same.
True, but deep down inside, they’re still just pussycats … and like all pussycats, they’re not especially smart.
I can state with 100% confidence that a charging male elephant seal will cause more than 800lbs (combined weight) of 5th graders, park rangers and parental chaperones to run like hell It’s like being chased by an angry, blubber-coated van with the horn blaring.
