Yeah, that’s a pretty solid series, provided you disregard any attempt to resolve the situation outside of a given episode or story arc. Don’t get me wrong, I like that show a lot, but its been 10 years now, right? Surely they’ve started running out of ideas by now!
Gigantor
Not a dig, but I’m a little surprised that Jayn_Newell is watching both Bleach and Naruto but only complains that Bleach is too slow-paced. Personally, having gone from Naruto to Bleach, I was grateful for episodes that didn’t have 10 minutes of flashbacks, often repeating scenes from the last two episodes.
In addition to those two, I’m finally getting around to watching Samurai Champloo (and loving it!), and have also started watching Black Cat and Speed Grapher on the recommendation of a friend of mine. I also have a few episodes of Jigoku Shoujo (Hell Girl), which looks like it’s going to be a morality tale (or morality tale per episode) in the vein of Pet Shop of Horrors. OTOH, I’ve only watched the first episode, so I may be way off on that one…
Oh, did you catch “Paranoia Agent” when it was on? Kind of a dark comedy/mystery/psychological thriller. Terrific music and art design.
