What are some examples of $50,000 cars?

I’m trying to draw a comparison between things that are around $50,000USD. I’m needing some cars. Your choice on new, used, whatever.

Thanks-

2007 Mercedes ML 500, MSRP $49,200.

1987 Ferrari 328 GTS, $49,900.

2007 Escalade EXT - $49,927 (not a car, but just throwing it in)
2007 Saleen Mustang ‘Parnelli’ Edition - mid $50,000

The Audi S4 is in that range as well. Damn nice car.

A couple more '07s:
BMW Z4 Coupe M ($50,100 MSRP)
BMW 530xi Sedan ($49,700)
Infiniti M45 Sport ($50,550)

Keep in mind a lot of these prices are base cars, and can run 25% higher easily.

Mercedes E350 will fall in that range, as well as the E320 Diesel. The ML350 nicely loaded, ML320CDI nicely loaded. R350 fairly equipped, as well as the R500 barebones.

BMW 5-series in general, some X-series vehicles, depending on how equipped.

Lincoln Navigator, Lincoln Towncar Ultimate (before all rebates).

There are hundreds of vehicles that will fit in the criteria for price range, want to give a few more specifics?

List from cars.com for my local area. Should give you plenty of used possibilities.

Are you looking for a sedan, truck, SUV, sports car, 2 door, 4 door, convertible?

Choices are endless.

My current two faves (all new):

BMW 335i - new twin turbo 3 series coupe some are calling the next Supra because of its tunability (380-400HP for an extra $1300). Handles like a dream and goes like stink.

C6 Vette. Corvettes used to be rubbish. Some say the new C6 is one of the best pure sports cars for sale at any price. At $50K you can get one reasonably fitted out.

Others:

Pontiac GTO - well below $50K and well…it’s a Pontiac but it isn’t really. It is an Australian Holden Monaro with a big 405HP Corvette engine in it. Handles good too for a Pontiac err…Holden.

Chrysler 300 SRT8. Everyone seems to bling their 300s but you buy the SRT8 and smoke them. 425 Hemi HP. Or get its cousin, the Charger SRT8. Both are built on the older Benz E class platform and are therefore competant handling wise. Just don’t expect Benz quality inside (loads of plastic).

Many others under $50K - Suby WRX Sti, Mitsubishi Lancer Evo, Base Beemer 5 series or E Class Benz, Beemer Z4, Nissan 350Z Enthusiast etc.

These are now available in the limited edition (numbered 1 to 1000) SuperBee edition. The one at my local dealership was $45,995 on the window sticker. Included in there is a $2000 gas guzzler tax.

The '07 Volvo S80 has been completely redesigned. With the V8 and all wheel drive it bases at about 47K There are only a few options, so for 50K you can have a damn fine car. This is not your mommy’s 240. 311 HP, all wheel drive, dynamic stability and traction control, and available active chassis. I can’t wait till I get mine, I intend to humble a few BMW drivers.

I’ve seen decade old Toyota Supras for sale for that price. Badass car but Jesus.

Well, what else are you comparing to? That may allow us to focus on particular class of cars?

No particulars, no specifics. I think I have enough right now. Just going to draw a relationship for marketing of like-priced items.

Thanks!
