I am looking for some good sites that have fantasy footbal information. Right now I’m specifically looking for “cheat sheets” and info for draft preperation. Once the season begins I need a few sites to track player news and get tips on injuries and pickups and that kind of thing. I hope these sites will either be free or very reasonably priced, I don’t plan on paying much to use a site unless it is fantastic. So, what sites are out there that can help me?
are you looking for pay sites or free sites?
I tend to hit a few NFL sites every day all year long.
(just ask mouthbreather I can talk football all damn day expecially projections of FF players)
free sites
I usually visit:
http://www.sportsline.com/u/partners/aol/frameset.htm?http://www.sportsline.com/nfl
I also have a subscription at espn insider.
I play fantasy football on Yahoo.
If your ever bored and want to talk football AIM message me or ICQ message me if I am online.
hope that helps,
Osip
Thanks for the suggestions, I feel more prepared for the draft already. Thanks also for the offer of more advice, I’ll probably take you up on that once the draft approaches too.
Also, watch out for “expert” mock drafts on cbs.sportsline, espn, and nfl.com. Those guys are idiots, and I think they’re trying to screw with the public. I’ve seen one where Rich Gannon was picked 8th overall, and letting Shaun Alexander fall to the bottom of the second round.
I’ve been spending a good portion of my summer at www.antsports.com, a mock draft site that also hosts leagues during the year. People for the most part do a good job, and all of the drafts are archived and databased, so you can access the average top 100 players. I’m in about 3 mocks a week. I can’t think of anything that could prepare you more.
