What are the extra verses to the Marine Corps Hymn?

wiki says that there are a number of extra unofficial verses to the Marine Corps Hymn, and give one such example. I haven’t had any luck finding the others online. Are the lyrics written down someplace for any of these verses?

*“Again in nineteen forty-one
We sailed a north’ard course
And found beneath the midnight sun,
The Viking and the Norse.
The Iceland girls were slim and fair,
And fair the Iceland scenes,
And the Army found in landing there,
The United States Marines.” *

Here are all three verses.

Well, I know the three REAL verses, but the wiki entry and other sources claim that there are unoffical verses for a lot of the campaigns the Corps has been involved in. However, the only one any source seems to be able to produce is the one about Iceland that Silenus furnished. It makes me wonder if there really are extra verses at all.

Like talking to the wall sometimes, ain’t it, David?

Not exactly what you asked, but if you scroll to the bottom of this page, you can see how the literal translation of the Marines’ Hymn changes in the Navajo version.

Especially so for the OP when he or she is carelessly read. Sometimes the title doesn’t say it all :smack:
