I’ve found a lot of info via Google, but can’t seem what the very latest numbers are. Or maybe I did find them, but can’t see any indication that they are the latest numbers. Can anyone point to a place that has the latest official numbers?
Thanks.

IIRC, quite well. Aren’t we third in the world after Finland and South Korea? I’ll see if I can dig something up after work. This question came up several times in some coursework I was taking last year.
The info I’ve seen has U.S. students doing not nearly so well:
And there were some number I’ve seen in the news in the past year about the U.S. coming in at like #23 or so.
I know—I’ve seen those conflicting figures too. I was also under the impression that the United States is way down on the totem pole, but two of my instructors aver that this simply isn’t true. I couldn’t find time to look for stats last night. I was basing my argument on the TIMSS data, but they countered with another cite, but I can’t remember what it was. I even recall throwing out that exact number—23.
