I’m curious how the teaching of history has changed since I was in school; I don’t mean silly myths that serious historians never believed (my fifth grade teacher taught me that Columbus proved the world was round) . I mean actual things historians agree on now, that were either not known about, or were misunderstood at the time. I’m not looking for ‘lies my teacher told me’, but rather stuff that would have been accepted as correct generally 30 or so years ago and no longer is.
