The LBMB Board War was an ignoble period in our history. A few posters here noticed the LBMB and thought it was filled with ignorant bigots. (The Left Behind Message Board is related to the Left Behind series of books and movies, fictional works that espouse the Fundamentalist Christian view of the End Times.) They decided to troll those boards and record their actions in a thread here.

Needless to say, the LBMB denizens soon found out what was happening. They came over here to troll us, resulting in a huge upswing in `witnessing’ threads in GQ and acrimonious arguments in The BBQ Pit.

Bans were handed out on both message boards, and I believe the LBMB experienced a meltdown of sorts, with less vitriolic members leaving and forming the Pizza Parlor as a less-acrimonious version of the LBMB. Various Christians from the SDMB joined the Pizza Parlor and participate to this day.
