What are these bacteria on agar from an 8-year-old kid's palm?

See subject. It’s a cool photo.

These growths occur in a standard/default preparation of agar, right? Which is what? And deposited under certain delimited environmental conditions?

I can’t parse most of your OP, but I see Serratia marcescens growing.

The yellow circles are most likely staphylococcus aureus

The photo was originally posted here. Some close ups 1 2.

Author says the big white blob is probably Bacillus. The other white is Staph, and the yellow and orange bits are most likely yeast.

There’s also a description of the agar solution and procedure she used.

Thanks!

Blue infinity could.

If it’s from the palm of an eight year old, there’s probably something there that’s suitable for bacteriological warfare…
