What are/were your team/school's favorite sporting chants?

<say everything the goalie does> Skate skate skate… sip… tap tap… SQUAT!

<insert goalie’s name> sucks, ____ sucks! You suck! <pause> And you didn’t finish the job!

I think there’s a reason the UNH hocky fans were known to be unpleasant to the other team’s goalies by unofficial poll. Of course we were all very proud of this fact.

Plus fun one like (one person does the 1st lines, everyone else repeats):
Is that the ice down there?
Yes that’s the ice down there.
Is that the score board up there?
Yes that’s the score board up there.
Is that the winning team down there?
Yes that’s the winning team down there.
Is that the losing team down there?
Yes that’s the losing team down there.
Winning team
Losing team
Winning team
Losing team

On the road to San Francisco,
Through the fields of rye,
Stands an old deserted outhouse–
No, that’s Ferndale High!

Give a cheer, give a cheer,
For the boys that brew the beer
In the cellars of St. Bernard’s High.
They are brave, they are bold,
For the whiskey they can hold,
in the cellars of St. Bernard’s High.
Well, it’s guzzle, guzzle, guzzle
As the beer goes down our muzzle
shout out your orders loud and clear
(More beer!)
If a sister should appear
Say sister have a beer,
In the cellars of St. Bernard’s High
(High, high, high)

I went to a Catholic schools. We had the best cheers!

From my college roommate, who went to a high school in Santa Rosa, California whose archrival was in neighboring Petaluma. According to the story, there was a slough at one end of the Petaluma football field, and the cheer was

8-6-4-2!
Push 'em back into the slough!
