What are you most afraid of?

whales. and sharks. really, any large and/or dangerous marine life, but whales and sharks are the top 2.
i’m talking phobia-level fear here. if i so much as watch the discovery channel and see footage of a whale, i really freak out. it takes a couple minutes for me to change the channel, i freak out so bad.

it’s an odd fear, i know, and my friends give me plenty of grief about it, believe me!
ugh, i’m getting goose bumps just typing this.

In the UK a sweetie is a sweet - like, a small piece of candy. Before I realised the language barrier, I thought you truly odd (but kinda cute). Pardon my anglaise!

“Those fish that swim up your piss-hole.”

I always get a chuckle when I hear of the ‘Candaru’.

Enola, put your fears to rest; this is yet another myth. This tiny catfish - it only grows to a couple of inches long - have no intrest in the human, urinary system. There has never been a verified case of Candaru VD.

Ya know, I sort’a like it to be a fact. I can think of a number of people I’d wish it on.

luck,

the only thing I have to fear is fear itself…

… that and LBJ rising from the grave.

“You see someone approaching from the shadows… Who is it, Mark?”
“It’s… It’s Lyndon Johnson!”
“No, it’s your father. What’s he holding?”
“It’s Lyndon Johnson I tell you! He’s come to draft me!”

“Death is the only promise kept by life.” Richard ben Sapir.

I’m getting pretty old, so death is little more than a curiosity to me. I’m an agnostic.

My kids and grandkids, I fear all bad things happening to them.

Currently, I fear for the Constitution of the United States.

I fear leaving with things left undone.

My son being hurt.
Severe physical pain.
My own mind. It often shows me things that I don’t wish to see.

So, I looked it up. It appears that there was indeed a Candiru that went up somebody’s penis.

Hmmm. I think I’ll research it a little more.

Bugs. Ugh…<shudders>

Death. I mean, no one knows what happens but I have a sinking feeling it will be a lack of consciousness and then nothingness. And that’s the scariest thing of all. It’s the low point of being an aetheist, I suppose.

Physical pain. Bodies are so vulnerable…and there are so many ways to cause someone harm- drawing and quartering, stabbing, shooting, hanging…there’s no end to it.

I fear those needles that they put in shirts. I have a fear that I will forget one, and when I put the shirt on, POP goes the eyeball.
:shudders:
I think I’d rather be in a tank of Candiru

Um, did you not see my reply with links posted? Just a question.

I fear those stickers and/or tags that they put on thrift store or tag sales. I’m afraid I’ll forget to remove one and will have that fact pointed out to me by a stranger on the street, or even worse a co-worker.

What? You can find some great pre-owned merchandise. You just need to know where to look.

I am most afraid that another of my children will die.

I fear that the person that I made a pact with will change her mind. I fear having a stroke and becoming a living vegetable unable to end her own life without the help of the pact-person. I am currently seeking a backup pact-person.

Bears. For no good reason.
