I’m definitely wearing a lot of brown this week. Yesterday it was dressy tan bermuda shorts with a yellow and white layered-look keyhole-back top and brown sandals. Today I’m wearing tan herringbone trousers and a green, lacy high-neck cap-sleeved top with a dark brown tank underneath. Also brown ballet flats. And a bra and underwear, of course. (And glasses and wedding ring.)
Today’s outfit: Dressy sandals, a loose gold-and-rust patterned skirt that’s cut like a broomstick skirt but made of heavier material, black tank top + black unzipped hoodie.
Coworkers stared. I’m never seen out of jeans, let alone a skirt, at work.

Purple, turquoise, and yellow hippy-skirt, yellow low-cut t-shirt over purple tanktop, 3 rings, funky necklace, dangling earrings, beige bra, lavender with yellow frogs underpants, and sunglasses. No shoes, sparkly fire-engine red toenail polish which doesn’t go and doesn’t suit me.
I saw a shirt this morning that said Schrödinger’s cat is dead.
I’m showered and ready for bed, so: white silk and mesh underwear, black sweatpant-style Bermuda shorts, and this shirt in Navy.
I’m wearing my Uncle Fred’s maroon bathrobe with little diamond patterened thingies all over it and skivvies. I am in a really crabby mood right now. If I were in a better mood I would have bothered to actually put on pajamas by now. I’m hoping that a few glasses of wine will adjust my attitude satisfactorily.
I am currently garmented. Not always is such the case, I work from home.
Shoes is dilapidated black running shoes. Sox is knitted currently blue denim, comes up mid-calf. Jeans has holes in both back pockets. Belt: wide, leather, brown, has Canon digital camera ensnared. Nice cam, PowerShot S70. Pociketwatch, Elgin , circa 1931, windup, one of 3, I rotate. Polo shirt, essentiall t-shirt with collar. I am NOT doing dressup today if not obv already. Is typical, seldom so. Undies is vintage way out of style blush-making umm ok is bikini cut. coffee brown. TMI yeah? You lucky I clothed. I work from home. Next time in bathrobe only. Or less.
I saw one for sale online that said “Erwin Schroedinger will kill you like a cat in a box. …Maybe.”
Jeans, for the third time since they were washed. :o Hey, I hang 'em up, and now they’re all soft and comfy.
Light blue t-shirt that’s–OMG–8 years old. I got it free for volunteering at a local family center in high school. It’s got a cheesy screenprinted logo and a coffee stain on the bottom right.
Glasses. Titanium rims, rounded rectangles.
Wedding ring.
Cotton undies from Target. mmm, cotton.
No socks, no shoes. If shoes enter the picture they will be brown rubber $3 flip-flops.
Hair’s too short to wear anything in it.
A gray T-shirt that says “Let there be peace in your heart, in our world” with the Methodist cross and flame and a dove on it. And a pair of gray shorts.
