What are your favorite portmanteau words?

Actually, my favorite is another I coined, and this is the second thread I’ve gotten to use it.

Bunt.

For a woman who’s a bitch and a cunt.

Bunt already has several meanings.
(Not the only example in this thread.)

Is it really a portmanteau to simply add a new definition to an existing word, even if you can (as in this case) invent a combination of morphemes to justify the new definition?

Some day…they’ll have my definition and cite me!

/me rubs his hands together and laughs like the villains in James Bond movies.

Refudiate

toolavanting–said years ago by a coworker accidentally about another who could never be found because he was always wandering around “I can’t do my part because you’re always toolavanting around.” (tooling and galavanting)

I’m no fan of Sarah Palin but I have to admit I like “refudiate”.

A friend used to use “Fweird” = funny + weird.

A lot of these seem to be more in the “Sniglet” realm than the portmanteau one. (Or is portmanteau the original word for sniglet? :D).

Sniglet:

It’s not a real symbol of elegance, but the number of times I would have been flashed by 15 year-olds over the past few years shows the real, serious need for their use in school uniforms.

A friend of mines uses a very elegant word to describe a particular bulging area on a overweight woman. That is, the area which is below her belt line, below her gut, if you will - particularly if the belt is tight, pushing fat down, creating and accentuating a mound below her midriff - and above her groin.
That word is ‘gunt’.
