HAHAHAHAHAHA. All due respect to MMM, who I like, this thread title in this forum gladdened my mean little heart this morning. Thanks for the belly laugh.
I’m just posting songs off my playlist that don’t fit into the other categories. Like this one.
Since this IS the pit, and I got moderator-pilloried for suggesting that the whole concept might be a bit silly…
How about songs starting with a completely non-phonetic symbol (like Prince’s erstwhile moniker)?
It’s silent, of course. I just wrote a song called ‘____’ to illustrate the point.
As Alan Jackson said in ‘Talking song repair blues’: " It may be a hit. I like it!".

Are there any songs about mustard?
Well, there’s this group called The Beatles… .
As I saw the way the alphabet threads were going, my first thought was Dr. Seuss’ On Beyond Zebra!
Until I started writing this very post, I had assumed that there were no Unicode assignments for yuzz, glikk, wum, etc., but I thought, “I had better check first, or some smug Doper is going to prove me wrong.”
And although there are actually no official Unicodes for Suess’ extra 20 letters, the book’s Wikipedia page points out that…
Have another go mmm !
And of course once we get started on Unicode, it will probably never end?
I think the well is dry, and I’m guessing the polls are going up any minute now.
Can I maybe get an extra entry in the Σ thread?
mmm
So when is the Cyrillic thread starting?

There’s another one (unfortunately not starting with Ψ).

And so moved, per the OP’s request.

That would get moderated under the English only (without translation) rule.

Joan Armatrading wrote this about a boy named Ψimon. But when he was swimming, the P was silent.
