What are your favorite songs that begin with the letter O? [Final Poll added] See rules in OP

I have a lot of O songs left, but I can’t leave out the fiddler’s national anthem Orange Blossom Special.

But, some of my favorite versions actually have guitars instead (Chet Atkins, Roy Clark).

Would you kind people tell me whose version you would be most likely to vote for. One of the two above, or an original or older fiddler version?

Thank you kindly!

Done. You still have another if you want it.

Artist?

mmm

Hey mmm -

I accidentally hit send after my first sentence in the above post.

I like the Johnny Cash version. No fiddle, though.

Ole Slew Foot- Johnny Horton

Oh Yeah- Yello (the song played during the end of Ferris Bueller’s Day Off

Oh, Pretty Woman– Roy Orbison

Okie From Muskogee – Merle Haggard

On The Road Again – Willie Nelson

I thought about nominating that one, too, but I had the same problem – I couldn’t figure which artist is most associated with that tune.

Thanks EinsteinsHund and WidaBeast

  1. Orange Blossom Special - Johnny Cash

Roger Miller always did a solid fiddle version, and I’ve no doubt he could play it on guitar, too.

Hhehehe, I doublt it will win any popularity contests, but I’ve always been partial to this version from Redneck Jazz Explosion

Please do not submit titles beyond your 5 until after polls are posted.

Thanks,

mmm

Sorry about that, will restrain myself.
