I will probably pick up some chinese food on my way to my boyfriend’s house and we will sit and watch the votes tally up while we eat seasame chicken. If he has class that night I will call up some friends and we can go watch the votes tally from a bar downtown.
I work that night, 2:00 pm – 11:00 pm. Fortunately, the polls open at 7:00 am.

You people are nuts. I’ll vote in the AM on the way to work & not think about it again until I read the paper the next day. I definitely want to watch exactly zero of the hype-la on TV.
Regardless of whether I’m pleased or pissed about the outcome, it’ll happen on schedule (more or less) without my watching it. And if the eventual results aren’t to my tastes, there’s not a damn thing I can do about it.
We complain about the media trivializing the process, and then we treat it like some sporting event. Bah Humbug I say …
