I was doing some Berigan searches (including lyrics searches)…looking for covers, etc., and this thread showed up in the search results. I was surprised that the question had been out there for so long, but easy to understand, I suppose. The song is quite old and somewhat uncommon. I happened to know the answer since I actually own the Pied Piper album, perhaps as a consequence of my family…a slight advantage over search engines.
So, I registered on SD to answer the question and help tim out.
It’s a great album, especially if you like (or lived) the genre.
