What book would you be?

Having just read Bradbury’s ‘Fahrenheit 451’ and having just seen the movie adaptation, I was wondering:

What book would you choose to ‘be’, and why?

God Save The Sweet Potato Queens because it made me laugh and cry - plus I’d be a Queen. It doesn’t get much better than that. And there are some sinfully good recipes inside - everything I need.

15-30 = Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas

30-35 = Some outdoor book with a lot of winter stuff and whitewater rafting

35-38 = Some book about love found, lost, found, lost

38-? = Bridget Jones Diary

Dune

Gotta have The Spice!

Wow, depends on the day.

Some days it would be War and Peace.

Other days it would be Where’s Waldo.

I’d be a pop-up book.

Atlas Shrugged

Either Darwin’s "A Monograph on the Sub-class Cirripedia (1851), or else Batman #188 (Dec 1966).

:dubious:

This one is taken.

The Prophet by Khalil Gibran

and then i’d want to be

A Suitable Boy by Vikram Seth

and I’m also digging being the love interest of Legolis if that existed which I dont think it did, but he was cute in the movie.

Then I shall be

Glory Road

for I am a beautiful man (Star thinks so…)

and I slay virgins and deflower dragons

stop… rewind… reverse that

Of Mice and Men by Steinbeck.
