What calendar does China use?

I know this is an incredibly short posting, but:
What calenday does China use?
Is it the Roman/Gregorian calendar we use here?
I can’t find the answer anywhere and it is making me feel stoooopid!
If it is a different calendar, what year is it? Was there a Y2K scare in China too?
Does anyone know the straight dope or should I ask Cecil?
