Thanks everyone - I’ve got 5lbs of the stuff, so I’ll probably try all of them!
I’m definitely starting by honoring my wonderbread roots with Gulo gulo’s recipe then going all gormet with villa’s!

[hijack] You want to use tongs any time you turn meat because piercing it with a fork allows the yummy juices to leak out. [/hijack]
4 cube steaks
1 onion thinly sliced
1 green pepper thinly sliced
2 tbsp flour
liberal use of pepper, salt, cayenne
oil for cooking
1 1/2 cups water
Season the steaks liberally with salt, pepper and cayenne, then coat both sides with the flour.
Brown steaks in the oil over medium heat.
Remove the steaks from the pan and add the onions and peppers, saute for about 5 minutes until they start to get tender, scraping the bottom of the pan as you do so.
Add 1/2 the water and stir until all the particles are off the bottom of the pan, simmer for about 10 mins.
Add the remaining water and the steaks, cover and simmer for 15 minutes or until the steaks are tender.
Remove the cover and cook until the liquid reduces to your desired thickness.
Eat.
