How on earth do you answer that question? Screaming “30K a year!” at the paper doesn’t seem to do a thing.
sigh And I answered the last two (Why do you want to be a lawyer? and What do you expect to get out of a law school in addition to a JD?) so well. Any advice, or rants/complaints/commiseration from people who’ve filled out this stupid forms?
“A hunger for knowledge, a passion for learning, and the determination to be the kind of student and person who will make this fine university proud.”
Practice this in front of a mirror several times a day until you can say it with sincerity and not crack a smile. If you don’t think you can get through it all, shorten it to “a desire to learn.”
Well, do you come from a unique background (rural, inner-city, lower class, Native American, etc.) because if you do then you could claim being able to bring a unique perspective and different life experiences. These would be ways that you could bring to the school. Hell, you could claim religious perspective (Mormon, Catholic, Muslim, Buddhist, etc.) if those apply to you.
Take this tongue-in-cheek and know that I am glad I never was one of those that had to “interview” if you will to get in school. I went to community college and dropped out.
