You’d need to crush one to distinguish them from Whoppers.
Also need a squish, to distinguish from Now-n-Laters.
Or Maltesers.

Whoppers are round and smooth; Milk Duds are vaguely round-ish, and sometimes a bit bumpy.
Heath bars, if you still have your teeth. (If not, you can always suck on them.)
Identical to Skor.
In all ways: the goal was that Hershey wanted to buy Heath. When they turned them down, Hershey made its own version as close as possible to Heath and named it Skor. Eventually, Hershey bought Heath, but still makes both.
Skor is slightly thinner, but the difference is not very noticeable.
Peanut pattie.
The hockey puck shape wrapped in cellophane is unique.
I’ve always loved them. They’re getting hard to find in grocery stores. Gas stations sometimes sell them with other candies. It’s like peanut brittle but soft. No risk of breaking a crown.
Twizzlers
Candy Shapiro. Well, her first name was actually Candice but no one called her that.

you think you could tell the baby ruth from the Oh Henry bar by feel?

Twizzlers
Oh no, it’s Red Vines! Altho… Red Vines are more stiff, being more like a Twizzler that’s been left out to go stale.
I’d go with Smarties, the US style. Chalky, with a divot in both sides.

I’ve never eaten a Oh Henry. I didn’t realize how similar it is to Baby Ruth.
I agree I couldn’t tell them apart in the dark.
I’m surprised that some other very distinctive candy shapes aren’t getting a mention. I don’t eat chocolate myself so I’m not up-to-date on all the options, but AFAICT a Hershey’s Kiss really couldn’t be mistaken for anything else?
Also jelly fruit slices, lemon drops, gumdrops, and conversation hearts. Probably Starlight mints and Canada mints (AKA “fat mint Necco wafers”) too.

Yes, but what kind of kiss? They come in about a million flavors these days.
Ohhhh, I see! Well, if we’re requiring being able to discriminate between different flavors of the same candy, that could undermine a lot of the nominations here (I defy anybody to tell one Necco wafer flavor, or Starburst flavor, from another by feel alone, for example).
Unless we’re making an exception for multiple flavors in a single candy package? But that would still disqualify all the Twizzler gropers, for example.
Twizzler Gropers would be a good band name.

A miniature model of the Shrine of the Book?
I’m going to say Cracker Jacks.
