If I had to decide right now I’d play it safe and pick, let’s say, the MS Society. Maybe the ACLU.

Our little section of Orlando(ish) has a cancer foundation. All the money raised in the area stays in the area. They’ve done everything from keeping the lights on to providing Christmas to scholarships. And the lady who started it never even had cancer!
So, that’s who I’m playing for…someone who does much good in my own backyard.
ASPCA, Humane Society, or some animal charity.
Planned Parenthood.
Breast Cancer.
Money for people.
I’m tempted to say something like the ACLU or NORML, but I’d probably settle on some kind of Darfur Relief, though I’d have to research specific organizations. Anything to do with sending condoms to Africa would get a serious look too.
Can I play for the World Wildlife Fund? Or the Nature Conservancy?
If it has to be for [del]stinking yahoos[/del] humanitarian interests, I’d like to know if there’s a charity that subsidizes medical students, Og knows our government underfunds that.
Either The United Methodist Committee on Relief or Special Olympics.
Possibly Toys For Tots, but I’m not sure.
I like Heifer Project and maybe the Shrine Hospitals, myself.
