What cities have a natural wonder or landmark right in the city or at least adjacent to it?

Yes, quite sure. Here’s the first link I found after searching “central park,” “rock” and “glacier.” There are plenty more online.

Well, no.

Not that the view from Victoria isn’t great, but Seattle is across Puget Sound from the Olympics, as seen here:

Why not take the high speed ferry from Victoria down to Seattle some time and check it out?

Indeed. But why not get a step closer and go to Port Angeles - out on Ediz Hook there definitely is a view of the Olympics from the Washington side:

On a clear day you can also see Mt Baker, 85 miles away, from the Hook…

A very attractive spring with natural watercress vegetation.

Socorro New Mexico houses the only population of Thermosphaeroma thermophilum. That’s a big deal to isopod aficionados.

I’d get to see a a close-up view of the Olympics everyday of it weren’t for all the darn trees. In fact, there’s a tree-trimming company called Olympic View in my town. Not sure if that’s what they’re implying.

From Luzern, Switzerland:
Mt. Pilatus
Mt. Rigi
Stanserhorn
Lake Luzern
Rotsee (mostly interesting for rowers)

Good photos of the Olympics (and Mt. Baker!) from the US side.

Yeah, as a side-note, once I had the pleasure of flying in a small commercial airplane (Horizon Air?) from Port Angeles to Sea-Tac on a bright, crystal-clear day, and perfect views of everything from Baker to Rainier - one of the best flights of my life (and the only time I was able to see the landing approach looking forward instead of from the side, and realized how the pilot nosed-down the plane toward the runway numbers, which was the only thing visible out the front windshield for a few seconds - an interesting feeling!).
