What color should I paint my toenails?

I think the subject says it all. I registered specifically to ask you people that question, because you all seem like you would be very helpful with this kind of thing. And don’t be afraid to suggest things like polka dots and stripes. I can do all that. Please help me… the fate of my toes is in your hands.

how 'bout painting each nail a different colour?

blue. with a little red flower on your big toe.

My friend Paule once painted her toenails “toe fungus green”. But I don’t think that’s very attractive. How about yellow with tiny black smiley faces on each toe. :stuck_out_tongue:

Player’s Racing Blue, with white racing stripes.

Ooh, ooh, red with black spots, like ladybugs! Only your big toenails could be different…maybe paint those to look like some kind of plant?

It’s the best thing to get rid of those winter blues.

If you’re feeling creative, apply some rhinestones or decals.

right now, mine are a “vamp” knock-off called blackest heart with clear rhinestones and decals on the big toes.

Last week, they were whore red with gold bead-like thingys applied in the shape of a sunburst.

I’ve got a nifty Elfin Green, from Avon. It’s on my fingernails right now, not my toes. But I’m thinking about doing my toes this color too.

Yellow would be a good color, too. A nice pick me up for winter.

I think a Royal Stewart plaid would be nice.

A male point of view:

Baglady took off the black toenail polish last night and I am thinking that I may go with green this time (though I haven’t seen the green she has, it may be gross).

If you don’t have green, might I recommend black with little splats of white? Just like the nightime sky.

I like that… sounds like a challenge. I think I’m gonna wait a few more days to see what else you guys some up with. So far this one’s got my vote.

Yellow on toenails can look unpleasantly pus-like.

I’m painting mine later, and I’m going to do them very dark bluish purple and possibly paint some pink and brown paisleys on the big toes.

I’ll second whore red, especially for winter. Summer is better for the pearly melony pastel colors, if you get tanned feet.

I also have a deep pearlized green that I like. Every December, I alternate red and green on my toenails.

BTW, I have found Revlon ™ to be the longest lasting & chip-resistant.
