It’s interesting, isn’t it? Although I know that my colour associations are as aribitrary as anybody else’s, I still find the idea that a day could be green or red somewhat odd, more actually, it feels wrong to me. Makes you wonder how much else of differences of opinion in the end come down to different wiring.
I’m the world’s most boring synesthete. Oh, I’m synesthetic, no question … I will always remember being very frustrated when I was about 6 because I kept asking my mother “what color is Tuesday?” and couldn’t get an answer (for some reason that day doesn’t show up in color).
But here are my other hardwired, synesthetic assocations:
Sunday - reddish grey
Monday - yellowish grey
Tuesday - ???
Wednesday - orangish grey
Thursday - grey
Friday - black
Saturday - grey
1 - white
2 and beyond - grey
Now doesn’t that just make you wish you were synesthetic?
The colors of the days of the week are a simple matter, really. For a real challenge try identifying the sex of each letter of the alphabet. No guessing!

On my month wheel December is at the top and its kind of a 3d wheel.
Numbers also have a direction, 1-10 goes one way before branching off to the right to go from 11-20.
