IIRC, in an episode of Seinfeld, Jerry deliberately tries to tank his set* in front of the network execs in order to make the house cold for Kenny Banya. It’s the one where Kramer is oiling himself with butter which generates weird thoughts in Newman.

*Complete with suspenders, of course.
