We never had “the talk” in my house either, just sort of figured it out. Frankly, I’m not sure how we will handle that with my son, though thankfully that is many years away.
One funny thing - my mother found my stash of playboys in my closet as well, but she never said anything (if she didn’t approve she would have thrown a fit). But she did get to play a good joke on me.
One year I came back from University to visit with a girlfriend. My mother planted my playboys under my pillows. So when my girlfriend and I were in bed fooling around, lo and behold surprise! That was embarrasing!
