The same people who will claim this shows how the whole Republican party is evil (or racist, like that Dowd bitch) are the same people who will sprain themselves claiming that ACORN employees don’t represent anything about ACORN, or Planned Parenthood nurses don’t represent Planned Parenthood.

Maureen Dowd (NY Times op-ed writer) claims that he was really trying to say, “You lie, boy”. She adduces sufficient evidence of Wilson’s racism to make a good point, that he just cannot accept a black president. From what she says, he is being made out a hero for it in Carolina.

As a North Carolina resident, please, don’t paint us with that broad brush, Wilson is from South Carolina. We have a Democratic woman as Governor now, and a good diversity of people in high ranking positions of government.
