what do I need to do to watch Hulu on TV?

We have an 802.11n network at home, but the TVs are just hooked up to cable. What would it take to be able to watch on TV?

You need a media center extender. If you have an Xbox360, it is commonly used as an extender to connect to your wireless network then broadcast to your television via the RCA cables. There are numerous other technological devices that will permit you to do the same thing.

And then you need to buy a program called “PlayOn”, and hope that Hulu hasn’t changed their code in order to thwart PlayOn’s constant efforts to deliver Hulu to your TV. A 360 alone won’t cut it. The only one-device fix would be to hook a computer directly to your TV.

If I were to use a MacMini to hook up to my TV, would that be sufficient?

Anything that can get to Hulu and output to your TV should be completely sufficient.

Most of the tvs in question are old CRT types with coax input. What do you need to do to hook a computer to that?

Thanks,
Rob

Depends on what the output of your computer is. A good RF modulator should have an RCA and S-Video inputs, and it outputs coax.
