I’m sure they don’t make public comments but there are always anecdotes.
Question: Is Karl Rove about something political and morality or just about winning and staying in power ? I suspect he is the second. He doesn’t strike me as a “true beleiver”.
I was gonna ask the exact same question. I saw Bush’s Brain, an expose of Karl Rove, last night on Sundance. I tried to glean an answer and couldn’t. Two of his biggest critics seemed to think he did have a political vision but just abused the means to get there. They didn’t say this outright, but he wasn’t portrayed as much of a power-monger as he could of been. I’d be curious to hear from others.
